There is nothing I love quite as much as traveling, especially when I’m headed to North Carolina for thanksgiving with my family. Growing up, North Carolina was a sacred place… home of my grandma, changing trees, and pecan pie. But seriously… what more could you want?! I’ve always considered NC home and this year my home is suffering from some stormy weather. Despite the temps dropping into the 30’s I’ve managed to work around the layers to put together an outfit that keeps me warm and looking cute.
This outfit is my go to fall formula. I’ve paired an oversized sweater with leggings and riding boots. I’m comfy, warm, and actually look put together despite the little time spent actually putting it together. By collecting a few warm, neutral classics you will be able to piece together multiple different outfits without too much effort when all you want to do is stay warm and eat turkey! These items are affordable and can be switched out for pops of color or something that you may have hiding in your closet. Add a few accessories and this outfit can take you from thanksgiving at grandma’s to the 12 am hustle of black friday.
I hope y’all are having a wonderful fall and get to enjoy all the perks of this season, including comfy clothing, black friday shopping, and thanksgiving dinner!
